As kids grow, learning to do things on their own without always needing help from their parents is a big part of growing up. By introducing independence, children can begin to understand themselves better.
A proud mother decided to share an adorable clip on her TikTok of her 4-year-old son. Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, @hayyanandmama shared how she had asked her son, Hayyan, to buy a bottle of water on his own at a stall in Bangi.
“My son mentioned he was thirsty at the time. I saw it as an opportunity for him to become more independent as he’s growing up. That’s when I decided to have him go buy water on his own.”
The mother then expressed her desire for her son to become more independent, sharing her mixed emotions of happiness and sadness as she observes him growing up too fast.
In the video, little Hayyan was seen standing in front of the stall, patiently waiting for the seller to notice him. After a while, the seller finally noticed him and promptly helped him in getting the water.
After getting the water, he made his way back to his mother with a huge smile on his face, saying “Seringgit” indicating that the drink only cost him RM1.
The adorable video quickly caught the attention of netizens online, prompting them to flood the comment section with their reactions.
