
KOTA KINABALU: A 17-year-old male sustained leg injuries after the car he was in crashed into a tree at Taman Iramanis along Jalan Lintas, this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department received the distress call at 7.32 a, and arrived at the scene within five minutes.
The victim was found trapped inside a Perodua Axia and had to be extricated using special road traffic accident equipment.

The victim received initial treatment on-site and was later sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital I for further medical care. The operation ended at 8.19 am after rescue workers ensured the scene was safe.
