KUALA LUMPUR – Several parts of Klang have been hit by flash floods following a continuous downpour at about 3.30pm today.
Among the affected areas, Taman Meru Jaya and Jalan Kassim Meru Klang saw widespread damage from the rising waters.
The flash flood is believed to have been exacerbated by clogged drains, leading to the water level reaching a height of one foot.

According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), firefighters were sent to the affected places to help the victims.
It is reported that 18 homes have been affected by the floods, but there has been no evacuation so far. Water levels were seen to be gradually receding by late afternoon. – The Vibes November 29, 2022
