Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendilibar is full of pride guiding the club to the Europa League final.
Victory over Juventus semifinal has handed Mendilibar a chance for a major career highlight.
He reflected: "That's how it is. We have fraced a great team, an Italian one. We have been able to have patience to attack them, it was difficult to open the can. Suso's great goal has helped us to stand firm and lift the match.
"It is an award for a coach who has always coached teams that were fighting for other awards. This shows that there are more technicians of this type, that with good squads they can do great things and it is an award for technicians who, in theory, are working in small teams.
"Once the game starts I don't know what happens in the stadium. But I have told my physical trainer that we have not seen this anywhere else. The fans, when you're just right, help you a lot, to finish the games and run more. We have to thank them."
