Sevilla have entered talks with Jose Luis Mendilibar.
Marca says Sevilla are moving for Mendilibar as they seek to remove coach Jorge Sampaoli during the international break.
Sevilla are acting after yesterday's defeat to Getafe.
Jose Bordalas has also been linked with the job, but Mendilibar is now in negotiations with Sevilla. Mendilibar lost his job at Alaves last year and has been out of work ever since.
However, the veteran is known as an escape specialist.
