Sevilla sporting director Monchi admits their relegation battle could go to the wire.
Sevilla have found themselves at the wrong end of the table and in serious danger of the drop.
Ahead of their Europa League clash with Fenerbahce tonight, Monchi said: "The doctor told me the other day that one day I was going to die on the field. Let's hope it doesn't happen and that we can suffer a little less, but in this game we're going to suffer because it's not a definitive result and, if we don't score a goal, we're going to have difficult moments.
"I want to think that we are not going to suffer until the end, but the teams below are not failing and salvation can go to 42 or 43 points. Now we have a run of rivals who are fighting and we'll see, but I didn't get that far. We're able to play a serious game today, at the level that the competition demands and that we can be in the draw on Friday."
