Sevilla vice-president Jose Maria del Nido Carrasco says they have full respect for Roma.
Sevilla defeated Roma in last season's Europa League final.
Del Nido said: "During the match we experienced great moments of tension.
"We have great respect for (Jose) Mourinho as a coach, he is one of the most important coaches in the world.
"We also have respect for Roma, a great club. We had already played other finals. I am no one to judge the behavior of Mourinho or Roma. We have great respect for both of them as an integral part of the world of football."
