Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Sewerage Services Department (JPP) managed to solve 100 per cent of public complaints received in 2022.
Sabah Works Minister Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya said this was despite a 24.3 per cent increase in complaints from 1,331 in 2021 to 1,665 in 2022.
“The increase in complaints shows the public’s awareness on the importance of taking care of the sewerage system by reporting every problem to the JPP.
“With the presence of high-tech innovation in line with the country’s fourth industrial revolution policy, the problem detection response time is shorter, allowing for effective and efficient solution,” he said at the JPP’s appreciation and award night, here, recently.
