
Kota Kinabalu: A trader and an “ustaz” who were separately charged with committing sexual physical harassment against minors, will go trial.
On the first case, trader Mohamad Khan Bayani will be tried on Feb 24-25, 2025.
Mohamad Khan, 40, allegedly committed the sexual abuse against a 16-year-old girl by asking her to perform oral sex on him and to suck his anal between 7am and 9am on Jan 3 this year at a place in Jalan Poring-Poring, Manggatal, near here.
On the second case, the ustaz’s trial was fixed on Dec 11-12 this year.

The alleged victim is 16-year-old student.
The trial dates had been fixed for both accused after they maintained their plea of not guilty.
Both cases were mentioned before Sessions Court Judge Hurma Hussain on Tuesday.
The duo is currently released on court’s bail pending the disposal of their cases.
The prosecution informed the court that they would be calling six and seven witnesses to testify during both the trials, respectively.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Batrisyia Mohd Khusri appeared for the prosecution while Mohamad Khan was represented by counsel Datuk Seri Rakhbir Singh and the ustaz was defended by counsel Elhanan James.
