BEAUFORT: A 43-year-old foreigner was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Kampung Limputong, Weston.
Beaufort District Police Chief Supt Champin Piuh said the suspect was apprehended following a police report.
In a separate case, police detained a 42-year-old after he tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine during a urine screening conducted at the Beaufort police headquarters.
The screening was carried out following the man’s arrest in connection with a criminal case under investigation by the Beaufort police.
