KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 — Sungai Buloh Parliamentary Constituency Service Centre staff have been instructed to assess the flood situation in the area and cooperate with authorities to assist the victims.
Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, who is also Sungai Buloh MP, said this is to ensure aid reaches victims.
“I also visited the temporary relief centre (PPS) at Dewan Seri Pagi Paya Jaras to meet the victims and deliver necessary assistance.
“We will ensure their welfare is taken care of. I understand how they feel,” he said in a Facebook post today.

He added that one PPS was opened at Dewan Seri Pagi Paya Jaras, housing nearly 90 victims from Kampung Kubu Gajah.
“I have instructed the Sungai Buloh Parliamentary Constituency Service Centre to provide the necessary assistance to flood victims.
“To all residents, prioritise your safety and that of your families, and monitor young children, the elderly and people with disabilities,” he said, adding that teams are available to assist those in need.
