PETALING JAYA: Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan resigned today and asked Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to follow suit.
The Umno leader’s call came after Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi also call on Zahid to resign after BN’s poor showing in GE15.
