Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) has proposed that applications for Sabah-Malaysia My Second Homes (Sabah-MM2H) be submitted online, said its top official.

Shareda President Datuk Chua Soon Ping said Shareda will bear all expenses in setting up the online platform, free of charge for the State government as another way to accommodate interested people especially foreigners to send in their applications smoothly.

He said Sabah would be the first State in the country to have such online platform for the programme if the State government approves the method.

“We all know that there is a little bit hiccup to launch the Sabah-MM2H recently that was due suspension of licensed agents under Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Motac), to take in the applications of Sabah-MM2H," he said in a statement.
