The victim’s husband, in his 40s, recounted the terrifying moment when his wife screamed for help before suddenly going silent, according to NST.
Overcome with emotion, he was unable to say more about the tragic incident.
The search operation involves 90 personnel from various agencies, including K-9 tracker units.
Authorities have also deployed an excavator to widen the area around the eight-meter-deep sinkhole near Malayan Mansion on Jalan Masjid India in hopes of finding the woman.
