A Chinese female tourist visiting Malaysia was pleasantly surprised when she encountered a friendly Malay woman who spoke Chinese. After seeking directions at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the two engaged in a friendly conversation, and before parting ways, the Malaysian woman handed her an RM20 banknote, leaving the tourist exclaiming, "So touched!"
The female tourist shared her experience on the Chinese social media platform, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), stating that she had a layover at Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday. Upon disembarking, she sought directions and happened upon a Malay woman who spoke Chinese.
According to her account, the two engaged in a lengthy conversation during which the Chinese tourist mentioned her hunger. She inquired if she could use Alipay for payment in Malaysia, to which the Malay woman responded by giving her a RM20, suggesting she buy some snacks.
The tourist expressed her deep gratitude for the unexpected act of kindness, and later, she used the banknote to purchase a latte. In the end, she even received some loose change from the 20 Ringgit, making the experience all the more heartwarming.
