Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has jumped to the defense of Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The former England striker and current pundit believes Pochettino has done a good job.
The Blues are in contention for a European place through their Premier League finish.
Shearer told The Rest is Football podcast, amid rumours that Pochettino may be sacked: "He's had to take a lot of s*** this season, a lot of it through no fault of his own because we know how it works at Chelsea.
I think that was him having a little dig back [at the rumors of his dismissal - Pochettino saying he may be the one who wants to leave].
"I think he's done a really good job. They could get sixth place. If he were to get that it would be a bloody good season for them."
