Newcastle legend Alan Shearer hailed the performance of Erling Haaland after Manchester City's win at Arsenal.
The Norwegian striker, 22, wrapped up a victory for the reigning champions, as Arsenal slipped out of the top spot they had occupied since the third week of the season.
It was his 26th Premier League goal as Shearer holds the record at 31.
Shearer said: "I was going to actually congratulate him tonight and just say well done because it's only a matter of time before he gets it.
"I'll be the first to shake his hand. It's going to go. I really enjoy his attitude. I love his hunger and his desire.
"I loved what he was saying about not sleeping at night when he doesn't score goals because that's what a goal scorer is.
"I love everything about him and as I said beforehand, if you're building for me the perfect centre-forward, he is it.
"And I think he's almost perfect. If you're going to get balls like (Kevin) De Bruyne did today and if Jack (Grealish) can cross it. When they do, they'll be a pretty scary outfit."
