Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer singled out Callum Wilson for praise after a miserable loss for the Magpies.
Despite going into the game needing a result, Newcastle were beaten 3-1 by Brighton thanks to an Evan Ferguson hat-trick.
While Shearer admits there was very little positive to take from the game, he did reserve some praise for veteran forward Wilson.
Shearer tweeted: "Brilliant Brighton. Magnificent Ferguson. Other than Wilson Newcastle very poor in every department today.
A tough start to the season I know but they were all over place."
Newcastle have only three points after four games so far this season, after finishing fourth last term.
