Sheffield United manager Paul Heckingbottom was delighted at his side's resilience on Sunday.

The Blades moved off the bottom of the Premier League table with a 1-1 draw against Brighton.

Despite trailing away from home, Brighton midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud's red card meant that the Blades had a way back into the game.

Brighton defender Adam Webster then scored an own-goal off a Jayden Bogle cross to give Heckingbottom a valuable point.

"We stayed in the game and got stronger and stronger, and started solving the problems they were posing," said Blades boss Heckingbottom post-game.

"It would have been lovely to get the three points but we can't be greedy. It's something to build on.

"We could have plenty more points out of plenty games but it's all right me saying that - this is the evidence we need, that in the last two games we've took points and it's been the other team that's been holding on."
