Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder can understand fans' anger during their home thrashing by Arsenal.

The Gunners won 6-0 last night, having led 5-0 at halftime.

Wilder later said: "I understand that the supporters left, but the noise at the end was fantastic. The boys are an injured group of players, they have had some bad defeats and they are injured.

"There were some disappointing performances all over the pitch and if you are not at your level you will be punished. We couldn't do anything about them.

"You have to be at your level, because these top teams can tear you apart."
