Sheikh Jassim has made an improved offer for Manchester United.
BBC Sport says the Qatari made the new offer on Tuesday after talks with the Raine Group, which are managing the process.
Sheikh Jassim's new proposal is for 100 per cent of the club, will wipe the debt and includes a separate fund directed solely at the club and local community.
He is battling Sir Jim Ratcliffe for control of United.
Ratcliffe has also proposed a full takeover, though also an alternative which would see the Glazer brothers Avram and Joel retain a minority stake.
Avram was seen at a hotel owned by Sheikh Jassim's father on Monday.
