Manchester United superfan Sheikh Jassim wants to buy the club from the Glazer family.
A representative of the Qatari royal family, Jassim is seen by many as a front for the nation's takeover of United.
Per Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol, Jassim's representatives held productive talks with United's brass at Carrington this week.
He will now put in an improved offer within the next ten days.
The source adds that Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS will also meet with United reps this week.
They are also likely to put in a new bid, but the Qataris are said to be confident.
There should be no doubt at all that Jassim wants to be the owner & custodian of United," stated a US source, per Solhekol.
