Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has explained why she would have voted off finalist Layton Williams in week 10.
The actor and his professional partner Nikita Kuzmin found themselves in the bottom two alongside Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, but were saved by the other judges last month.
While she did not have to vote, Ballas said at the time she would have saved Angela and Carlos.
“He was lucky that the other three saved him,” the Strictly judge said, questioning his performance of the American Smooth.
“It wasn’t how I had taught American Smooth for 50 years. There were lots of things and elements missing. But I’m glad he’s here now.”
