This isn't the first instance where local actors face accusations of impregnating women and abandoning them. The latest incident involves a 21-year-old private university student who bravely shared her story with the local news portal, Harian Metro, while choosing to remain anonymous.
The woman revealed how a local actor impregnated her, subsequently pressuring her into aborting the child. After undergoing the procedure, the actor disappeared from her life, leaving her to deal with the physical and emotional aftermath alone. The actor sought to evade the consequences and responsibilities, leading to the forced abortion that left the woman furious. Witnessing the actor continue with his life while she suffered, she decided to bring his actions to light.
She expressed, "I was willing to retract the police report after he promised to take care of me once I had the abortion and even said he would marry me." However, after the abortion in October 2023, the actor not only vanished but left her grappling with severe uterine pain. Numerous hospital visits later revealed that the abortion pill had not been effective, and she was still carrying a fetus.
"I'm not sharing this for pity or for him to marry me, but I want him to have humanity and be responsible," she emphasized. The student also took to social media to express regret, acknowledging that she had chosen the wrong father for their child and lamenting that she didn't fight for the baby's right to exist in this world.
