Si King’s heartbreaking admission as Dave Myers missing from first Hairy Bikers episode after death

Si King heartbreakingly admitted “I missed [my] best mate” as Dave Myers was absent from the first episode of their BBC series since his death aged 66.

The TV presenter, who had been diagnosed with cancer, died in February.

In this clip, from The Hairy Bikers Go West, Myers was absent as he did not feel well enough to film as the pair visited Wales.

“It’s odd without him... I missed me best mate,” King said.

The episode was introduced by a BBC Two channel controller saying Myers was “gone but not forgotten”.
