Kota Kinabalu: A total of 40 students from SIJK Yue Min, Penampang took part in a football programme organised by Sabah Ex-State Footballers Association (The Ex-State) in collaboration with the school at their field recently.

The one-day clinic to teach basic skills to the students was conducted by former internationals Yap Wai Loon and Laini Ahing.

The Ex-State President Datuk James said he was impressed with the big turn-out despite the downpour.

“I am very pleased to see that all the participants aged 8-10 had a good time learning some basic skills in football and also playing in a 7-a-side match among them,” he said.
