Simon Kjaer is happy to be back with AC Milan.
The defender saw action in Olympique Marseille on Sunday eight months after suffering a serious knee injury.
The Dane said, “I'm very happy. Eight months ago… It was a very long journey but also fun in a few months, then coming back with the team after suffering eight months.
“I'm happy to be here with my teammates. Now there is the need to grow, both with the team and with personal work.
“I'm fine. Of course I miss the rhythms of play, you can do whatever you want in training but the real game is something different. Now I need to play, but always mentally focused."
