Kota Kinabalu: Institut Sinaran, a well-regarded higher education institution in Sabah, is organising an Education Fundraising Dinner today (April 21) at the Port View Palace Hall in Likas.

The event aims to support educational initiatives and will be graced by Datuk Chan Foong Hin, the Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities, as the Guest of Honour.

A delegation from Institut Sinaran, led by the President of the Board of Governors, Datuk Chong Hon Len, recently paid a courtesy visit to Chan to extend an invitation for him to attend the fundraising dinner as the Guest of Honour, which he accepted.

During the visit, Chong also briefed Chan about Institut Sinaran’s latest endeavour, the Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering and Technology Programme, which is part of the institute’s Technical Professional Education and Training (TPET) initiative.
