Kota Kinabalu: Flying taxis in Singapore are planned to be launched by 2024, according to a report.
German company Volocopter promised their VoloCity craft will help people beat the traffic rush, Singapore's news site mothership.sg reported.
They said their air taxi services will cater for three different customers - tourists, business travellers and commuters.
Its initial launch will fly through Marina Bay, letting flyers view Marina Bay Sands, the Central Business District, the F1 racetrack and Singapore Flyer.
A second potential route will offer views of Sentosa island and the Singapore skyline.
Business travellers, meanwhile, will be taken from Singapore's Marina Bay South to regional economic centres such as the Ibrahim International Business District in Johor Bahru or Nongsa Digital Park in Indonesia's Batam Island.
