- Singapore Airlines has been voted the world's best airline at the 2026 World Airline Awards hosted by Skytrax.
- Qatar Airways took second place, followed by Cathay Pacific Airways, ANA All Nippon Airways and Turkish Airlines.
- Virgin Atlantic was the sole UK airline to make the top 20 list, which featured five European carriers in total.
- Asian carriers dominated the global passenger satisfaction rankings, securing 12 of the top 20 positions when including Turkish Airlines.
