SINGAPORE, Aug 20 — Singapore’s SG Arrival Card (SGAC) will soon feature a refreshed interface designed to offer travellers smoother and easier navigation.

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said yesterday that travellers could try the enhanced interface on its website from August 26, while the new features would also be made available on the MyICA Mobile app.

“The SGAC will sport a refreshed interface with enhanced features on MyICA Mobile app and ICA website soon,” it said in a Facebook post.

The updated version will offer 19 language options and a passport scan autofill feature aimed at speeding up submissions.

ICA said travellers only need to make one submission, regardless of whether they use the current or enhanced version of the SGAC.

The SGAC is the electronic version of the paper disembarkation and embarkation card, commonly known as the “white card”, which Singapore discontinued in 2020.

It requires foreign visitors to provide their arrival information and an electronic health declaration before entering Singapore.

All foreign visitors, including Malaysians entering through the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints, must submit the SGAC within three days before arriving in Singapore, including the day of arrival.

Travellers transiting through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance are exempt, as are Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders entering through the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints.

ICA stressed that the SGAC is not a visa and that submission through its official website or MyICA Mobile app is free.
