SINGAPORE, April 3 — A 46-year-old car driver was arrested for drink-driving after a hit-and-run accident in Serangoon in the early hours of April 3, according to The Straits Times.

A 38-year-old motorcyclist was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital following the collision at the junction of Serangoon North Avenue 1 and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.

The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident, which involved a car and a motorcycle, at 12.40am.

The car driver left the scene before police arrived and was later arrested. Investigations are ongoing, the English daily reported.

A video circulating online showed a man lying on a road shoulder with a motorcycle a few metres away, while passers-by rushed to assist.
