Kota Kinabalu: Single mothers in Sabah under B40 and hardcore poor categories, among others, are urged to register with Sabah Women Affairs Department (Jhewa) to benefit from various aid and free living skill courses.
Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Wanita Chief Noraiza binti Datuk Seri Mohammad Noor Mansoor said many of them are unaware of the privilege improve their living standard.
She said Jhewa had targeted to also register mothers and wives who had been abandoned by their husbands without alimony or financial support.
