Kota Kinabalu: The Sipitang District Education Office has achieved the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in Sabah for the Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) 2024 examination results.

With a district average grade of 3.01, Sipitang surpassed both the national average of 2.85 and the Sabah state average of 2.77, reflecting the dedication of educators, administrators and students in pursuing academic excellence.

Sipitang Keadilan Wanita Chief Junaidah Makku congratulated all parties involved in the success.

Junaidah who is also Sabah Pakatan Harapan Wanita Information Chief acknowledged Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek’s commitment to strengthening education in Sipitang, including her previous visit to officiate the new Sipitang District Education Office building.

The results position Sipitang as a model district for academic achievement in Sabah, with hopes that students will continue to excel and contribute to district, State and national development.
