SIPITANG: The Federal Government, especially the Rural Development Ministry (KPLB), should complete the Rural Electricity Supply Project (BELB) Hybrid Solar System project at Station 2, Kampung Long Pasia, which is said to have been abandoned.
Sipitang Umno Youth Chief Sani Miasin said the project, which was implemented through direct negotiations (design and build) in 2017, was supposed to have been completed in 2019.
But unfortunately, he said, the project failed to be completed on schedule and has been abandoned over the past few years, without any progress so far.
