For years, two sisters tried to convince their parents to adopt a cat.
However, their family was rather reluctant.
So, they finally decided to take matters into their own hands and put a plan into action.
A roadside “discovery”
The sisters decided to pretend they had found the kitten on the side of the road. To back up their story, they naturally filmed the whole thing.
In the video below, one of the sisters gets out of the car, approaches the kitten carefully, and scoops him up as if she has just found him. From inside the car, the other sister plays her part perfectly, feigning surprise and concern. The result is so convincing that the whole family fell for it!
The truth is finally revealed
We then learn in the video that the sisters kept their secret safe for a very long time... In fact, their family believed the story for nearly a year before finding out the truth. Then, two years after that famous day, they finally shared the footage on social media.
The video ends with a heartwarming clip of the cat, who is now fully settled into his home, sleeping peacefully on the sofa without a care in the world about the “lie” behind his arrival.
