Kuala Lumpur: The High Court here has dismissed Rumah Bonda founder Siti Bainun Ahd Razali’s application for bail pending the disposal of her appeal in her case involving child abuse.
Justice Ahmad Bache said there were no exceptional circumstances that warranted granting her bail.
The judge noted that this was Siti Bainun’s second application for bail, after the sessions court rejected a prior attempt.
“If this application (for bail) is allowed, the accused will be out and then she will continue her charity work. There is a propensity that she may commit the crime again,” said Ahmad.

The court sentenced her to a total of 12 years in prison. She filed an appeal the same day.
