- A major incident was declared following the collision involving a First Bus Franchising X11 service on the A484, though it has since been stood down.
- Six individuals were taken to hospital, while 13 others were assessed and discharged at the scene, with no injuries believed to be life-threatening.
- Dyfed-Powys Police, Welsh Ambulance Service, and Mid and West Wales Fire Rescue Service were part of a multi-agency response.
- The A484 near the Kidwelly roundabout remains closed for collision investigators, and welfare arrangements were provided at the John Burns Centre.
