Sky News was forced to cut its live broadcast from Middlesbrough when a journalist was accosted by members of the public over the A66 crash which killed several people, including two police officers.
Sky journalist Shingi Mararike was reporting from the inquest of five young men who were killed in the crash on August 22, when a member of the public started shouting over him.
Mr Mararike says: “We are going to have to stop this broadcast. We are being accosted by members of the public.”
Hundreds of extra police officers have been drafted in after a series of deadly incidents in the are, starting with the head-on crash on Saturday and a house fire which claimed the lives of a seven-year-old girl and her aunt on Wednesday.
