Liverpool have made a move for Augsburg fullback Philipp Max.
Sport says Liverpool are in talks with the agent of Max.
The 25-year-old Augsburg ace plays at left-back, where Liverpool are short of cover after allowing Alberto Moreno to leave on a free transfer.
Reports have indicated Jurgen Klopp will not splash the cash this summer, with Max a potential cheap option to serve as back-up for Andy Robertson.
Max has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.
