PENAMPANG: SM St Michael (SMSM) clinched the Datuk Ewon Benedick Cup SMSM Mini Rugby 10-a-side Under-15 tournament held at Penampang Sports Complex on Saturday.
In second place were SM La Salle followed by SMK Tansau in third while the Lioness A took the girls Under-16 seven-a-side title with SMSM A in second place and SMK Takis in third.
Ewon who was present at the closing ceremony to give away the prizes said he has a very close tie with the school as a former student and hopes the programme will continue to be held in the future.
Also present was SMSM’s Principal Jennifer Asing.
