SIPITANG: Fire and rescue personnel captured a snake found in a kitchen at Kampung Hospital here on Tuesday.
Fire and Rescue Chief Calvin Joe Jeafery said they received the emergency call at 9.27am, prompting the deployment of a team to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters discovered the snake hiding beneath the kitchen area and captured it using specialised snake catching tools.
“After the snake was caught, we brought it back to the station before releasing it into its natural habitat,” Calvin said.
The operation was made easier as the caller had been monitoring the snake’s movements, which helped firefighters locate and capture it more efficiently.
