In a dramatic incident from Dallas — that has left viewers amazed and relieved — a pet dog narrowly escaped injury when the ceiling of a living room suddenly collapsed. The moment was captured on a Ring home security camera while the dog’s owner, Kathryn Bautista, was away on a work trip.
“I was shocked when I later reviewed the footage to see how close my pet came to being struck by the falling debris," Bautista said.
The now-viral video shows the dog resting on a couch and just moments later, the ceiling begins to give way. As soon as the dog senses something wrong, it quickly jumps off the couch and runs out of the room. And soon after, the ceiling comes crashing down.
The pet’s perfectly timed escape has amazed viewers online.
According to Bautista, she was not at home when the incident occurred. A friend had been looking after the dog at another location until she returned from her trip.
