KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic on major highways heading towards the Klang Valley is flowing smoothly and remains under control.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) expects traffic volumes to increase from noon until late evening as travellers return home after the Aidilfitri holidays.
A spokesperson said PLUS has activated the Smart Lane at 34 locations from 9 am to 10 pm today to help ensure smoother traffic flow.
Highway users are encouraged to plan their journey based on travel time recommendations from the concessionaires.
They are also advised to ensure they are well-rested before starting their drive.
