Villarreal have hit out after Alex Baena saw red against Almeria last night.
After scoring, Baena lifted his shirt to show a written tribute to Jose Manuel Llaneza, after the vice-president passed away last week.
Ref Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, by regulation, showed Baena a yellow card - his second of the night - which saw him sent off.
The dismissal enraged fans, players and staff, with Villarreal making their feelings known after the 2-1 win.
