Kota Kinabalu: The Che Hor Khor Moral Uplifting Society, Sabah will celebrate its 23rd anniversary with a dinner event on May 18 at the Putera Theatre Ballroom, Bukit Padang, with Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew as Guest of Honour.

The Society’s President, Wong Sound Sing, formally invited the Minister to grace the celebration.

He was joined by Deputy President Datuk Frankie Liew, who is also the organising chairman.

Christina said: “This organisation has grown steadily over the past 23 years with the support of the local community.

“I hope the members will continue their noble mission of promoting, uplifting moral and good human values,” she said.

Present at the meeting were Vice-Presidents Chris Chang, Raymond Lim and Teh Tian Peng, Honorary Secretary (English) Kathleen Wong, General Affairs Officer Wong Chung Ming, committee member KJ Tan and member Datuk Simon Teoh.
