Kota Kinabalu: More women in Sabah have been urged to sign up for the Housewives’ Social Security Scheme (HSSS) to receive coverage against any mishaps which may befall them while in the course of carrying out their domestic duties.

Only 84 women from the State had registered for the HSSS as of December 20, according to the Social Security Organisation (Socso).

Socso Chief Communications and Corporate Affairs Officer Izad Haji Raya said the Scheme was enforced on December 1.
