
PUTATAN: About 2,900 Army personnel and their families at the Lok Kawi camp here cast their early votes as early as 7 am today.
Commander of the Fifth Infantry Division (5 Div) Major General Datuk Abdul Rahman A. Wahab disclosed that 6,000 Army personnel across Sabah are eligible voters with 1,299 of them registered as postal voters.
"Based on those numbers, we are expecting 72 per cent of the 5 Div family to come out and vote today," he told the press.
"There are 11,181 active Malaysian Armed Forces personnel in Sabah and Labuan eligible to vote."
