MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila, Cavite and Bulacan will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday.
In Tondo, parts of Concha and Ricafort Streets from Nicolas Zamora to Franco Streets, and portions of Perfecto and Dagupan Streets from Yuseco St. including Arnold, Arqueros, Balaya, Bukaneg, Bulaklak, Cabezas, Calle Dela Reina, Coral, Dagupan Ext., Deodato, Elena, Endaya, Fajardo, Fullon, Gabriela, Gatmaitan, Hamabar, I. Mercado, J. A. Santos, Jonathan, Jose Basa, Katamanan, Lilibeth, Linampas, Nicodemus, Pacheco, Pilapil, Prudencia, R. Almario, R. A. Reyes, Tayuman and Wagas Streets will have no power on August 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. due to the installation of facilities and line reconstruction work.
Also, portions of Nicolas Zamora Street from Herbosa Street including Dandan, Esguerra, Francisco and Gerona Streets, and portions of Juan Luna Street from Tayuman Street including Corcuera, Dagupan, Fajardo, Franco, Gatmaitan, Lecheros, Panday Pira, R.A. Reyes and Tello Streets will have no power on August 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will also be a brief outage from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. along a portion of Nicolas Zamora Street from Corcuera Street including Aguila, Amarlanhagui, Baltazar, Coral, Franco, Mejorada, Nicodemus, Pacheco, Panday Pira, Pavia, Peñalosa, Perla C, Pilapil and Tello Streets.
In Pasay City, a portion of SM Central Business Park will have no power from 12:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on August 19 due to facility upgrades. The affected areas include UNIQLO Blue Bay Walk along Pres. Macapagal Blvd. and McDonald’s along Bay Blvd.
In Brgy. Sucat, Muntinlupa City, there will be no power from 12:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and from 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on August 19. Areas affected include portions of Meralco Road and Dr. A. Santos Ave. from Meralco-Gardner Substation to South Luzon Expressway East Service Road, including portions of Purok 1 & 2, Escalades South Metro Subd., Robinsons RLX Warehouse, and Seaquest Logistics Inc. Also affected is a portion of SLEX East Service Road – Northbound from Dr. A. Santos Ave. to SLEX Sucat Entrance Toll Gate – Northbound.
Some areas in Parañaque City will have no power on August 19 from 12:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and from 5:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. due to line repair work. Areas affected include a portion of SLEX West Service Road – Southbound from near Datung Bldg. in Brgy. Marcelo Green to SLEX Sucat Exit Toll Gate – Southbound in Brgy. Sucat, Muntinlupa City. This includes portions of Superville Subd., United Parañaque 4 Subd., Westborough-Severina Diamond Subd., Universal Solid Homes, Alpina Heights Subd., Seacom Compound, Dana Compound – UPS 4, Ilang-Ilang Valley – UPS 4, Landscape – UPS 4, Seacom Compound – UPS 4, Sampaguita Hills – UPS 4, and Sampaguita St. in Marcelo Green Village in Marcelo Green and San Antonio.
In Paco and Santa Ana, Manila, portions of Pres. Quirino Ave. from Philippine Columbian Association Sports Club to Barangay 825, Zone 89 and Pedro Gil St. from Pres. Quirino Ave. including Santa Maria, Main, Saturno, A. Isip, Concordia, Manggahan, Onyx, Road 6, Road 9, Road 10, Road 13, Road 14, Road 15, Road 16 and Road 20 Sts.; Fabie Estate, Barrio Kapampangan; Concordia College and Saint Pius X Parish in Paco and Santa Ana will have short power interruptions between 12:01 am to 12:30 a.m. on August 21 due to the replacement of defective power cable along Pres. Quirino Aveune, Pedro Gil, and San Antonio streets.
In Bulacan, some sections of Matias A. Fernando Ave. from Meralco – Angat substation to Donacion Public Cemetery including M. Valte Road; portions of the villages of Pulo, Sapang Pahalang and Tukod in San Rafael; Barangay Casalat in San Ildefonso; Barangay Pinagtulayan in Norzagaray; villages Bayabas, Camachile, Pulong Sampalok and Sapang Bulak in Doña Remedios Trinidad; villages Banaban, Baybay, Binagbag, Donacion, Encanto, Laog, Marungko, San Roque, Santa Cruz, Santa Lucia, Santo Cristo, Sulucan and Taboc in Angat will have power interruptions between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on August 21 and between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on August 22 due to maintenance work.
In Cavite, Purok 4, Purok 5, and Purok 6 in Brgy. Alulod, Indang will have no power from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 21 due to replacement of poles.
