Mercedes F1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli appears to have found himself a new Malaysian “dessert” during his time here, except he may have missed a few important ingredients.
A clip shared on Threads showed the 20-year-old driver scooping up what appeared to be plain shaved ice from a cup and giving it a try.
After taking a bite, Antonelli seemed to approve of it too, giving the icy treat a thumbs-up.

But Malaysians watching the clip could not help but notice something was missing: the syrup, evaporated milk and all the toppings that would usually turn the shaved ice into a proper bowl of ais batu campur, better known as ABC.
One Threads user joked that all Antonelli needed was some syrup and evaporated milk to complete the experience.

Others quickly joined in, with one writing: “Someone please buy him ABC.”

Another netizen joked that people should not show him a fully loaded ABC, or he might end up craving it every day.

One user even edited the clip to show Antonelli holding a spoonful of colourful ABC complete with corn, beans and syrup, writing:
“There. I fixed it for you. It is called ABC (ais batu campur), a popular Malaysian shaved ice dessert!”

While Antonelli seemed perfectly happy with his plain shaved ice, Malaysians have now made their mission clear: someone needs to get him a proper bowl of ABC before he leaves.
